The driving forces behind the decisions we make are multifaceted, obviously, and often we can't pin down one particular reason why we want the things we want or do the things we do, but for me, the motivation behind my desire for travel is comprised of two parts. Restlessness and curiosity. And it is these two things that drove me to decide to live in London for six weeks this summer.
It's both terrifying and exciting, the prospect of living in another country, even just for a short period of time. But, right now, the excitement is outweighing the terror in spades, and I feel lightheaded thinking of the potential everythings that may come this summer. I'm so thankful for the opportunity and aware that this is something of a once in a lifetime, and I don't intend to waste it.
And so the countdown begins!! I'll be running ragged for the next twenty days, which are sure to be filled with many a list and several nearly-psychotic breakdowns, but it's all in a days work, kids!
